Funding Opportunities

The INPCPVA solicits grant applications related to its scientific priorities and welcomes investigator-initiated applications.

International Nanome Project on Crop Plants and Veterinary Animals (INPCPVA) solicits grant applications that relate to its scientific priorities and research interests. For some programs, the INPCPVA participates with other institutes and centers. INPCPVA welcomes innovative investigator-initiated applications and encourages investigators with novel ideas to discuss potential applications with program staff during the concept development stage of the application. Investigator-initiated research applications follow the INPCPVA standard schedule for submission, review and award.

If you are considering submitting an application, please contact INPCPVA staff during the concept development phase of your application. This makes it more likely that your proposed research will be appropriate for INPCPVA's research mission. Program staff members are very receptive to discussing your ideas and how they fit within the research mission of INPCPVA.

    Types of Solicitations

    Program announcements (PA) Describes new, continuing, or expanded scientific priorities and program areas, follow the standard schedule for submission, review and award and are usually active for three years.

    Program announcements with special receipt dates (PAR) Provide their own submission schedules and are usually active for three years.

    Request for Applications (RFA) Describe an institute's or center's interest in receiving applications in specific area(s). These are usually one-time solicitations.

          International Nanome Project on Crop Plants and Veterinary Animals (INPCPVA) has established website to announce funding opportunities, other relevant federal notices, INPCPVA policies, and courses that receive support from INPCPVA. Subscribers receive brief summaries of Program Announcements (PAs) and Requests for Applications (RFAs), Notices, etc. with links to more detailed information.
